My sister, Kate, recently started writing for Beamer Films. A studio in Nashville specializing in producing media for churches. The first film to feature her writing, called “The Simple Complexity of Easter” is now available on beamerfilms.com for viewing and download.

My brother, Jeremy, my dad & I did a little photo shoot at an old abandoned fire station in Evansville, IN over the holidays. It was pretty cold, around 35 degrees F and I stepped in a freezing cold puddle that was knee deep, but we did manage to get some interesting shots. The sky was pretty bland, so I mostly ended up shooting portraits of my fellow photographers and family members. Jeremy got some great images included a shot of me looking like a awesome photographer.

My dad has been doing more and more blogging lately. He’s got some good things to say about the film Amazing Grace and mentions his Maximum PC featured article on Windows Vista. Check out his blog at markesoper.com.

Back at the end of July, Jamie and I got to take care of Lewis overnight. We took him out for Ice Cream at Lee’s and spent some time playing at the park. We had a great time. Here are some photos from it.
