I just posted some photos of Rocky’s Revival’s video shoot from December on Flickr. Ryan and Eric are putting together a music video for them and these photos are a sneak peak of the lighting and setup for the upcoming video.

Patrol Magazine is featuring a story about Andy Zipf’s new, soon to conclude mini-tour, Pfriends on Pfilm. It is a pretty amazing conglomeration of beautiful and stunningly good music by Andy (with Pete Lim) and some amazing VJ-ing and motion graphics by Brad Wolf from SOTA. The story features some of my photography from the SOTA Studio show a couple of Friday’s ago and also has a paragraph about my friends, Tereu Tereu.

Yesterday the article about my FAA ONE Art Show and Book and Fredericksburg All Ages was featured prominantly, on the front page of the Town and County magazine in the Free Lance-Star. My brother, Jeremy, my dad & I did a little photo shoot at an old abandoned fire station in Evansville, IN over the holidays. It was pretty cold, around 35 degrees F and I stepped in a freezing cold puddle that was knee deep, but we did manage to get some interesting shots. The sky was pretty bland, so I mostly ended up shooting portraits of my fellow photographers and family members. Jeremy got some great images included a shot of me looking like a awesome photographer.

My FAA ONE book has been out for a little over a week, and people seem to be really enjoying it. I’ve gotten many compliments and I’ve had a few conversations with people saying how much some of the pictures captured the feeling of the shows.

Just to let everyone know, it is a available for purchase at The Wounded Bookshop and online for $25 (or drop me a line and I’ll snag you a copy). I’m a little frustrated right now since I’ve been waiting on a shipment of 70 books to get in…but I haven’t received them yet. When they get in they will be available at the following stores:

The FAA ONE show opening went smashingly. We had a good flow of people coming out to see the show on Friday night, Jamie made/got some great snacks for everyone’s consumption and Ryan Poe let me display 4 of his videos from various FAA shows from the past year (check them out on YouTube). I sold some FAA ONE books and some 4×6 prints of the show images.

I recently posted some photos from a show at the Third Floor in Fredericksburg of Exit Clov and Jukebox the Ghost, some great bands from DC. Adam really knows what bands to book to have some great shows in Fredericksburg.
